NXP MCX C Series Microcontrollers (MCUs)
Designed for energy efficiency and cost effectiveness
The NXP MCX C Series microcontrollers, featuring Arm® Cortex®-M0+ cores running at up to 48 MHz, provide affordable, entry-level solutions for general-purpose applications, including USB and segment LCD support. Designed to extend the classic IPs of NXP MCUs, the MCX C Series offers flexible memory and package options for scalability. The MCX C04x family includes 32KB of Flash, 2KB of SRAM, and 8KB Boot ROM, with peripherals like a 12-bit ADC, comparator, and multi-channel timer/PWM modules. Its low-power architecture minimizes power consumption, featuring static power as low as 2.2 μA and a 7.5 μs wake-up time for full retention, with deep sleep power usage reduced to just 77 nA.
For more advanced needs, the MCX C14x/24x/44x families offer up to 256KB of Flash, 32KB of SRAM, and 16KB Boot ROM. Optimized for cost-sensitive, battery-powered applications, these devices support low-power USB connectivity and segment LCD displays. With FlexIO for standard and customized serial peripheral emulation, they achieve ultra-low-power performance, consuming just 54 μA/MHz in very low-power run mode and 1.96 μA in deep sleep mode, while retaining RAM and RTC.
