There will be revisions to the methods of identification on the LW Series rocker switch, LW3021A. The ON-OFF indication, part number, rating, circuit diagram and NKK logo will change from a sticker to laser marking on the switch case, and the color from black to off-white. The lot number, previously imprinted above the case on theframe, will relocate to the lower right side of the case and be laser etched. These changes will effect the standard part number, LW3021A, and any related custom part numbers.
There will be revisions to the production and manufacture location for LW and MLW Series Rockers. For MLW Series, "Japan" will no longer be displayed on the switch bodies, and the UL symbol will have the code "080" appear to its right. For both LW and MLW Series, the lot number on the switches will have a dot mark above the second digit, and the box in which the switches are packaged for shipping will read "PHILIPPINES FACTORY" instead of "JAPAN FACTORY." These changes will apply to standard and custom products.
