The MOC3021M is a part of MOC3021 Series and is a optically isolated triac driver device, it contains GaAs infrared emitting diode and light activated silicon bilateral switch, because of which it functions like a triac.
This device is designed for interfacing between electronic controls and power triacs to control resistive and inductive loads for 115 VAC operations. It has an Operating Temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C.
