CEL CMP9620 Hosted Wi-Fi 6 + Bluetooth Module

2X2 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi 6 With, Concurrent Bluetooth V5.3 For IoT

Based on NXP’s 88w9098, the CMP9620 by CEL delivers both data throughput and more efficient network utilization while offering out-of-the-box integration into NXP’s i.MX8 ecosystem.

Simultaneous dual-band operation, combined with concurrent Bluetooth and the latest Bluetooth features, deliver the connectivity demanded by edge gateways, commercial/industrial/medical systems, and high-bandwidth applications.

Transceiver IC
CEL’s CMP9620 is a WiFi 6 2x2 + Bluetooth combo device enabling gigabit-level performance for high-end applications. This transceiver supports concurrent Wi-Fi connectivity at both 2.4 and 5 GHz to maximize performance in harsh environments. To maximize data throughput to the host MPU, the WLAN interface is PCIe with UART used for the Bluetooth interface.

Host Driver Support
