Its advanced features, robust hardware, on-board debugger/programmer and cost effectiveness make GoodLock the perfect platform to add trust to your design product.
 

GoodLock

The GoodLock features the latest security, microcontroller and analog solutions from Microchip.

 

  • Power up through USB connector (J3) on the GoodLock board, or plug the proper battery on (P5)
  • Ensure SW4 is in ON position
  • The LCD displays Future and Microchip Logos, then home screen
  • Press SW1 to switch to the Demo mode
  • Press SW2 to scroll through Demo screens when SW1 is in Demo screen
  • Make sure the shield board is on MikroBUS™ socket when pressing SW3 (Warning: Disconnect power before connecting the shield board)
  • To authenticate, pick a Key, and insert into J1, press SW3
  • If it was a Good Key, the Lock will open and Green LEDs will blink
  • If it was a Bad Key, the Lock will not open and Red LEDs will blink
  • If there is no Key, the Lock will not open and the Yellow LEDs will turn on

Trust Shield

The Trust Shield Platform consists of a Microchip SAM D21 microcontroller configured as the main MCU. It comes pre-programmed with Microchip`s Secure Products Group (SPG) kit protocol. This protocol facilitates the communication between the CryptoAuthentication devices ATECC608A-TFLXTLS (TrustFLEX) and the host MCU over the USB HID interface. The Trust Shield can be use with the Goodlock platform or in a standalone application.
