Nexperia’s new FET bus switches based on CB3Q technology have a high bandwidth of 500MHz on the data path. CB3Q is a higher-bandwidth technology than CBTLV(D), making these switches suitable for use in broadband networking and high-speed communications equipment.
Suitable for use in functions such as sensor multiplexing, memory interleaving and bus isolation, the CB3Q325x devices include a charge pump so that they can switch 5V signals while operating from a 2.5V or 3.3V supply node.
These low-voltage bus interface solutions feature low and flat on-resistance of around 4Ω, and a low input/output capacitance, minimising capacitive loading and signal distortion on the data bus. CB3Q switches are low-power solutions with a typical static current of 0.4mA.
The CB3Q FET bus switches are available in leadless DQFN16 and leaded TSSOP16 packages. The 74CB3Q3257PW-Q100 is suitable for automotive applications.
