Microchip WFI32E01 Wi-Fi® MCU Module
Featuring optional Trust&Go
To help developers design secure, robust, and high-performance IIoT systems, the highly-integrated Microchip WFI32E01 Wi-Fi® MCU module features a premium PIC32 MCU core, rich peripherals and a proven Trust&GO hardware secure element– enabling it not only to provide Wi-Fi but also to serve as a powerful MCU core for the entire IIoT system.
The WFI32E01 contains the PIC32MZW1 series Wi-Fi SoC, a 200 MHz high performance MCU with industrial leading Wi-Fi connectivity and rich peripheral options. This not only provides a robust Wi-Fi® connection, but also serves as a powerful MCU core for the entire IoT system. The WFI32E01PC/UC module variants feature the Trust&Go platform, which are pre-provisioned for cloud platforms like Google Cloud, Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure.
The PIC32MZ W1 Family supports a rich set of standard PIC32 peripherals such as Wi-Fi, Ethernet MAC, USB, CAN, CANFD, SPI, I2C, SQI, UART and JTAG. TCP/IP based connectivity protocols along with SSL support enables a low-cost, low complexity system to obtain full-featured internet connectivity and reliable information exchange.
The following antenna options are available:
- PCB Antenna (WFI32E01PC/WFI32E01PE)
- U.FL Connector (WFI32E01UC/WFI32E01UE) for External Antenna
