The XENSIV™ PAS CO2 5V is a real CO₂ sensor based on photoacoustic spectroscopy (PAS) technology. The sensor comes in a miniaturized size and provides accurate CO₂ data outputs. Its compact design facilitates seamless integration and smooth high-volume assembly, while its robust performance enables the sensor to fulfill the requirements of WELL™ building standard. The XENSIV™ PAS CO2 5V targets a wide range of commercial and residential HVAC applications and indoor air quality devices.

Two new boards are available from Infineon for evaluation of and prototyping with the XENSIV™ PAS CO2 5V sensor:

• The XENSIV™ PAS CO2 5 V miniboard enables precise CO₂ measurements in a compact size. This board requires no reflow process and is compatible with combined PCB layouts, allowing easy transition to reflow assembly for later use. It integrates seamlessly with the Sensor2Go kit and is available in small quantities to enable small-scale evaluations and early-stage application development.
• The XENSIV™ PAS CO2 5 V Sensor2Go kit empowers developers with a seamless CO₂ sensor integration and a plug & play solution. With effortless connectivity to the graphic user interface (GUI), users can accurately measure real-time CO₂ data from multiple kits. This user-friendly development kit facilitates prototyping and represents an ideal CO₂ monitoring solution for different ventilation applications.
