The MCP7940N-I/ST is a Low-Cost I2C Real-Time Clock/Calender with 64 bytes of SRAM, available in surface mount TSSOP-8 package.

The Real-Time Clocks uses digital timing compensation for an accurate clock/calendar and a a programmable output control for versatility.
