The TFDU4301-TR1 is a low profile, surface mount infrared transceiver module. This device has compliant to the latest IrDA physical layer standard for fast infrared data communication, supporting IrDA speeds up to 115.2 kbit/s and carrier based remote control modes.
This device covers an extended IrDA low power range of close to 1 m. With an external current control resistor the current can be adjusted for shorter ranges..
