Change Description: Kingston’s eMMC devices based on Kioxia’s 256Gb BiCS4 TLC NAND Flash are now approaching End of Life (EOL) due to discontinued foundry support for the Kioxia’s BiCS4 flash die. As a result, there will be no future support for BiCS4 flash die based devices. For continued support and better availability Kingston offers a replacement device that is based on Samsung 256Gb TLC die. There will be changes to the eMMC controller and NAND flash die for the replacement devices. Specific parts that are EOL, along with recommended replacement parts are identified in Table 1.
