General Product Description:AMPSEAL 8P, 14P, 23P, & 35P HeadersDescription of ChangesThe Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit of TE Connectivity is adding additional molding and plating capabilities at approved TE vendors in China. This will apply to the vertical and right angle 8P, 14P, 23P, and 35P AMPSEAL headers for the part number(s) listed below. This is necessary to increase production capacity and meet customer demand. The additional capabilities will not impact connector performance. IMPORTANT: No t, form or function change. Parts are identical to current production. Product drawing(s) are not a ected. These PNs are TE proprietary designs and are therefore considered catalog/general market products. PPAP and/or sample requests must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system. Submission will not occur without request. If PPAP is requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved. Shipments may be mixed.Reason for Changes:This change is necessary to increase production capacity and meet customer demand
Description of ChangesThe Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit of TE Connectivity is making a change to implement an automated stitching process for the assembly of the part number(s) listed in this notice. These PNs are TE proprietary designs, therefore considered catalog/general market products. Level 4 PPAP will be provided upon request. PPAP and/or sample requests must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system. Submission will not occur without request. If PPAP is requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved.Reason for Changes:Dear Customer, we hereby inform you of this change. The change is necessary to increase production capacity. The change does not impact connector performance. IMPORTANT: No fit, form, or function change. Parts from the previous, and new, process can be used interchangeably in the field. Previously assembled components can remain stocked until use. Shipments may be mixed.
Customer drawing PCB layout shows the header pin thru hole at DIA1.38+/-0.10 This hole size is too small for the header pin size and is changing to DIA1.75+/-0.10 Reason For Change: Document Clarification. The current PCB thru hole size is too small for the header pin diameter and is changing to add greater hole clearance. There is no change to the header pin size or the product in general, this is only an information change on the customer drawing
