Tempo Semiconductor, Inc., traces its roots back a quarter century to the founding days of SigmaTel (founded in Austin, Texas in 1993) to the PC Audio Division of IDT (formed in 2006) in the PC Audio and Embedded Systems.

Today, Tempo Semiconductor, Inc., combines its extensive IP portfolio in ultra-low power mixed-signal, analog and DSP technology to deliver not only silicon but firmware, software, board level design files that enable complete turn-key solutions, which enhance our customer’s end-user audio experience while accelerating their time to market.
