General Product Description:Raw Material Manufacturing Location Change -25 Molded PartsDescription of ChangesThis notice informs you that a supplier has changed manufacturing location for a raw material that is used in the manufacture of our heat shrink molded shapes for -25 material.Reason for Changes:Product improvement. This a raw material location change only. There is no change to the raw material formulation or material chemistry, and no change in production process. Therefore, there is no change to fit, form and function, and TE does not need to reformulate our finished product. We will be testing sample material in parallel with manufacturing finished goods for shipment. The first batches of finished goods will be put on hold pending completion of sample evaluation and First Article Reports. We may ship products prior to completion of sample evaluation under agreement with the customer. Products will remain compliant under their respective TE specifications as there is no change to the product. External agencies have been informed.
General Product Description:Molded Parts with /225 Adhesive PrecoatDescription of ChangesDear Valued Customer, this notice informs you of a change to the compound formulation of the /225 precoat adhesive used on TE Connectivity s heat-shrink molded parts. The /225 precoat is manufactured from raw materials sourced from external vendors and a vendor has obsoleted one of the raw materials used in the compound. The replacement of this raw material requires a reformulation, which will follow TE s defined change procedure to maintain safety, quality, and compliance. There will be increased lead times on impacted products for a short time. TE is committed to resolving this as soon as possible. For assistance with alternative products, please contact our Product Management team. We understand this product reformulation and requalification may impact your operations, and we appreciate your understanding.
