More Information on RF Amplifier...

What is an RF Amplifier?

A radio frequency amplifier, or RF amplifier, is a tuned amplifier that amplifies high-frequency signals used in radio communications. The frequency at which maximum gain occurs in an RF amplifier is made variable by changing the inductance or capacitance of the tuned circuit. An rf amplifier can tune over the desired range of input frequencies. The shunt capacitance permits high gain at radio frequencies because it adversely affects the gain of a resistance-capacitance coupled amplifier. Power gain of rf amplifiers is always limited at high radio frequencies.

Types of RF Amplifiers

There are several different kinds of RF amplifiers at Future Electronics. We stock many of the most common types categorized by several parameters including frequency range, supply current, supply voltage, noise figure, gain, output power at 1 dB compression (P1dB) and packaging type. Our parametric filters will allow you to refine your search results according to the required specifications.

RF Amplifiers from Future Electronics

Future Electronics has a wide range of RF Amplifiers from several manufacturers. Once you decide if you need a CATV RF Amplifier, Gain Blocks, RF Low Noise Amplifier, RF Low Power Amplifier or RF Power Amplifiers, you will be able to choose from their technical attributes and your search results will be narrowed to match your specific RF amplifier application needs. You will then be able to find the right RF amplifier for your RF amplifier circuit or IC, video amplifier, TV RF amplifier, cable tv amplifier, linear radio frequency amplifier, MOSFET RF amplifier or solid state RF amplifier.

We deal with several manufacturers such as Hittite Microwave, Avago Technologies, Freescale Semiconductor, Microchip, New Japan Radio and NXP, among others. You can easily refine your RF amplifier product search results by clicking your preferred RF amplifier brand from the list of manufacturers below.

Applications for RF Amplifiers:

Amplifier applications include electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing, defencse components, communications testing and medical diagnostics. RF power amplifiers can be used in driving to another high power source and microwave heating. They can also be used driving a transmitting antenna, where the transmitter–receivers are used for voice and data communications as well as for weather sensing. Microwave or RF heating is used in industrial applications as well as in microwave ovens. Also, particle accelerators use RF sources.

Choosing the Right RF Amplifier:

With the FutureElectronics.com parametric search, when looking for the right RF amplifier, you can filter the results by the required category. We carry the following categories of RF Amplifiers:

  • CATV
  • Gain Blocks
  • RF Low Noise
  • RF Low Power
  • RF Power Amplifiers

Once you choose the RF amplifier category, you can narrow them down by various attributes: by frequency range, supply current, supply voltage and packaging type to name a few. You will be able to find the right RF amplifier for your RF amplifier circuit or IC, cable TV amplifier, linear radio frequency amplifier, MOSFET RF amplifier, solid state RF amplifier, video amplifier or TV RF amplifier using these filters.

RF Amplifier devices in Production Ready Packaging or R&D Quantities

If the quantity of RF amplifiers you require is less than a full reel, we offer customers several of our RF amplifier devices in tray, tube or individual quantities that will help you avoid unneeded surplus.
