This is a notification of phase-out and discontinuation for TFT-LCD products, listed on the subsequent pages. Although we continue to support our core principle for long-term Industrial product life, we must from time-to-time phase-out older generation products. This includes the need to balance our "Best in Class" long-term product life support with production efficiencies based on changing market conditions. Please refer to attached SPCN for the Last Time Buy / Last Time Ship dates.
Change of Signal processing board for NL products:Change description (1) Product change Due to discontinuation of signal processing boards, we will develop new signal processing boards. Design of the current signal processing boards are old and many mounted components are not current mainstream. Therefore, we will change several commodity components to mainstream. But the following major components will not be changed. No change from current one: - Timing controller IC - Interface connector (Type name and mounting position) There will be no influence on environmental compliance like UL and RoHS compliance. (2) Change of delivery specifications Fuse type, manufacturer, rating, and fusing current will be changed. Details of fuse specifications will be informed later. No contents of delivery specifications will be changed except for specifications of fuse.
Change description:Due to discontinuation, anti-reflection film (AR film) will be changed to same maker's alternative one. There is no change in the composition and material of the AR layer. After changed product has reduced reflectance and reflective coloration by optimizing the thickness of the AR layer. (Please see page 3/3.). There are no optical or electrical specifications change and no changes in product reliability. And there will be no influence on environmental compliance like RoHS.

This 10.4” VGA resolution (640 x 480) module is one of the first NEC LCDs to adopt their proprietary ST-NLT (Super-Transmissive Natural Light) technology.
A few of NL6448BC33-70C’s features include high luminance (900 nits), wide viewing angle (80° right, 80° left, 80° up, 80° down), and wide operating temp (-30 to 80 deg C). Other features include high contrast (900:1), CMOS Interface, 6-bit digital RGB signals. It also boasts a long life white LED backlight.
The NL6448BC33-70C is ideal for the industrial applications situated outdoors – such as ticket machines, POS terminals or ATMs just to name a few.
