Murata Electronics is a global leader in EMC Solutions using its ceramic dielectric and ferrite technologies to produce high performance EMI suppression filters. Murata’s EMI offering consists of several solutions: ferrite beads, terminal capacitors, and common mode chokes.

One of the more popular methods for reducing EMI is the use of ferrite chip beads. These ferrite chips have physical and constructional properties that make them ideal filters. They also are very simple to install because there is no need for a ground design. 

Murata Electronics, in the BLM series, offers application specific solutions. The BLM series is comprised of R series (for digital interface), A series (for standard), B series (for high speed signal), P series (for large current), and H/E/G series (for GHz range noise suppression).

Murata Electronics’ surface mount ferrite beads are available in standard EIA packages ranging from 0201 to 1806. The also offer EMI Ferrite chip beads in an array package.

Perfect for large current applications the  BLM41PG750SN1L is an 1806 ferrite chip bead, with an impedance of 75 Ohms at 3000 mA.
