Microchip Technology MCP6V76/6U/7/9 Operational Amplifiers

With 170 µA, 2 MHz Zero-Drift Architecture

The Microchip MCP6V76/6U/7/9 family of operational amplifiers provides input offset voltage correction for very low offset and offset drift. These are low-power op amps with a gain bandwidth product of 2 MHz (typical). The MCP6V76 family is unity-gain stable with virtually no 1/f noise, a strong Power Supply Rejection Ratio (PSRR) and a Common Mode Rejection Ratio (CMRR). The Microchip MCP6V76/6U/7/9 amplifiers operate with a single supply voltage as low as 2V, while drawing 170 µA/amplifier (typical) (maximum only 260uA) of quiescent current.

The MCP6V76/6U/7/9 portfolio has enhanced EMI protection to minimize any electromagnetic interference from external sources. This feature makes it well suited for EMI sensitive applications such as power lines, radio stations and mobile communications, etc.

The Microchip MCP6V76 op amps are offered in single (MCP6V76 and MCP6V76U), dual (MCP6V77) and quad (MCP6V79) packages. They were designed using an advanced CMOS process.

Zero-Drift Architecture

Zero-Drift amplifiers are amplifiers that implement a continuously self-correcting architecture using auto-zero or chopping technology (or both). As the name suggests, these amplifiers have little to no offset voltage drift. Zero drift amplifiers are especially useful in applications that require a high amount of accuracy.
