TT Electronics OPB620 Slotted Optical Switch
The OPB610 and OPB620 slotted optical switches consist of an infrared emitting diode and an NPN silicon phototransistor with an enhanced low current roll-off to improve contrast ratio and immunity to background irradiance.
Slotted optical switches are also known as opto switches or optical switches (however not the optical component). Including a photoemitter and a photodetector mounted in a single package, these switches provide status indications when light beams are interrupted in various types of instruments, systems and equipment.
