Built on high-performance Arm® Cortex®-M55 and Cortex®-M33 cores, PSOC™ Edge microcontrollers by Infineon integrate Helium™ DSP support, Arm® Ethos™-U55, and their ultra-low power NNLite neural network accelerator. These innovations provide scalable compute power while maintaining ultra-low power consumption—making the series ideal for IoT applications, including smart home, security, wearables, and robotics.

PSOC™ Edge E81

The PSOC™ Edge E81 is a high capability MCU series with full DSP capabilities and entry level ML compute providing support for rapidly emerging differentiated edge device features such as anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, acoustic event detection, key word spotting, wake word detection, voice prompts, and gesture/movement/presence detection.

PSOC™ Edge E83

The PSOC™ Edge E83 family based on high-performance Cortex™-M55, including Helium DSP support paired with Arm® Ethos-U55 for advanced machine learning hardware offloading as well as a low-power Cortex™-M33 paired with Infineon’s ultra-low power NNLite hardware accelerator intended to accelerate neural networks in Machine Learning and AI applications.

PSOC™ Edge E84

The PSOC™ Edge E84 series of Arm® Cortex®-M microcontrollers feature high-performance, low-power, secured MCUs with hardware-assisted machine learning (ML) acceleration for next generation applications. The PSOC Edge devices are based on high-performance Cortex-M55, including Helium DSP support paired with Arm Ethos-U55 as well as a low-power Cortex-M33 paired with Infineon’s ultra-low power NNLite hardware accelerator intended to accelerate neural networks in Machine Learning and AI applications.
