Laird Connectivity is announcing the End of Life (EOL) for the following part numbers.This EOL document outlines potential replacement module and series recommendations by Laird Connectivity.The LTB purchase orders must be received by May 7th, 2024. LTB purchase orders are non-cancellable, non-returnable (NCNR) and all units must be shipped from Laird Connectivity by December 7th, 2024.Note: There is no direct replacement for this family of devices, the LWB5+ and ST60 families are Wi-Fi and electrically equivalent but are not mechanically or pinout equivalent to the LWB5. Physical and electrical changes to an existing design will be required to transition from the LWB5 to the LWB5+ or ST60 devices
DESCRIPTION OF CHANGES:- Change the MAC OUI from C0EE40 to B0FB15.REASON FOR CHANGE:As part of a normal consumption of MAC addresses for our connectivity products, available MAC addresses for a specific OUI are exhausted and a new OUI is required to allow continued supply of unique MAC addresses for Laird Connectivity products.Our OUI C0EE40 is nearing the end of the available MAC addresses and a new OUI is needed to maintain supply of products without interruption.
