MPS MP6604A/B/C Dual H-Bridge Motor Driver
4.5V to 45V, 2.5A, Dual H-Bridge Motor Drivers with IN/EN Interface, PHASE/ENABLE/BRAKE Interface, or HS/LS Interface
The MPS (Monolithic Power Systems) The MP6604A/B/C is a dual H-bridge motor driver IC designed to drive stepper motors, brushed DC motors, and other loads.
The MP6604A/B/C device operates across a 4.5V to 45V input voltage (VIN) range, and can deliver up to 2.5A of output current (IOUT) per phase, depending on the ambient temperature (TA) and PCB layout.
Internal safety and diagnostic features include over-current protection (OCP), input over-voltage protection (OVP), input under-voltage lockout (UVLO) protection, and thermal shutdown.
- The MP6604A has separate IN and EN pins for each output pin.
- The MP6604B has PHASE, ENBL, BRAKE, and BMOD input signals for each H-bridge.
- The MP6604C has separate HS and LS input pins for each output pin.
- The MP6604A/B/C is all available in QFN-28 (4mmx5mm) and TSSOP-28EP packages.

MP6604A’s Evaluation Board: EV6604A-V-00A
The EV6604A-V-00A is an evaluation board designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the MP6604A, a dual H-bridge motor driver. It can be used to drive stepper motors, DC brushed motors, or other loads.
The MP6604A operates from an input voltage (VIN) of up to 45V, and can deliver load currents up to 2.5A per H-bridge. The MP6604A has separate IN and EN pins for each output pin. The input control signals are generated on the board, or come from an external controller via the connector on the board.
The MP6604AGV is available in a QFN-28 (4mmx5mm) package. It is recommended to read the MP6604A datasheet before making any changes to the EV6604A-V-00A.
