This is a notification of phase-out and discontinuation for TFT-LCD products, listed on the subsequent pages. Although we continue to support our core principle for long-term Industrial product life, we must from time-to-time phase-out older generation products. This includes the need to balance our "Best in Class" long-term product life support with production efficiencies based on changing market conditions. Change of Signal processing board for NL products:Change description (1) Product change Due to discontinuation of signal processing boards, we will develop new signal processing boards. Design of the current signal processing boards are old and many mounted components are not current mainstream. Therefore, we will change several commodity components to mainstream. But the following major components will not be changed. No change from current one: - Timing controller IC - Interface connector (Type name and mounting position) There will be no influence on environmental compliance like UL and RoHS compliance. (2) Change of delivery specifications Fuse type, manufacturer, rating, and fusing current will be changed. Details of fuse specifications will be informed later. No contents of delivery specifications will be changed except for specifications of fuse.

Features & Applications
The a-Si TFT LCD panel structure is injected liquid crystal material into a narrow gap between the TFT array glass substrate and a monochrome-filter glass substrate. Color (Red, Green, Blue) data signals from a host system (e.g.signal generator, etc.) are modulated into best form for active matrix system by a signal processing board, and sent to the driver LSIs which drive the individual TFT arrays. The TFT array as an electro-optical switch regulates the amount of transmitted light from the backlight assembly, when it is controlled by data signals.
