Transparent blister tape for better AOI visibility: To improve the visibility during the Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) of EPCOS SMT inductors, power inductors and transponder coils, the current blister tape with a slight blue shade will be replaced by a fully transparent blister tape. The electrical and mechanical specification of the inductors remain unchanged. The change of color in the blister tape has no impact in the quality and reliability of the affected products. During a transitional period, the deliveries of the affected products could have both blister tapes.
