NXP LS1021A Time-Sensitive Networking Reference Design
Start designing with TSN for your industrial networking application
The LS1021A by NXP is a Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) Reference Design platform which allows developers to design with the new IEEE Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) standard. The board includes the QorIQ Layerscape LS1021A industrial applications processor and SJA1105T TSN switch. The LS1021ATSN is supported by an industrial Linux SDK with Xenomai real time Linux, which provides utilities for configuring TSN on the SJA1105T.
With virtualization support, QorIQ Layerscape Secure Platform Trust Architecture, Gigabit Ethernet, SATA interface, and an Arduino Shield connector for multiple wireless modules, the LS1021ATSN is ready to support industrial IoT requirements.
Features
LS1021A | The LS1021A processor is built on Layerscape architecture, the industry's first software-aware, core-agnostic networking architecture to offer unprecedented efficiency and scale. |
K22 | 100 MHz USB MCU family supports cost-sensitive applications requiring low power flexibility and processing efficiency. |
SJA1105T | Offers a flexible solution for implementing modular and cost-optimized Electronic Control Units (ECUs) using Ethernet as the backbone for control applications. |
TJA1052I | The TJA1052i is specifically targeted at Electric Vehicles (EV) and Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV), where galvanic isolation barriers are needed between the high- and low-voltage parts. |
