The extended value range in 27 different case sizes sets the NPIM_PA series as NIC's primary choice for molded power inductors. This series represents NIC's most extensive value range, catering to the fundamental performance requirements of metal composite molded power inductors.

These AEC-Q200 qualified inductors offer a remarkable array of features, including high current ratings and reduced DCR. An upgrade from standard ferrite based shielded power inductors molded metal composite construction provides high saturation current characteristics, increased frequency performance, and higher efficiency at higher switching frequencies, making these ideal choices for today’s efficient DC-DC converters for automotive applications from tracking to sensor controls.

A total of 27 footprint options are available with case sizes ranging from 3.5mm x 3.2mm to 17.6mm x 16.9mm (length x width) and inductance values spanning from 0.1uH to 220uH, all with a ±20% (M) inductance tolerance.

Isat current ratings range from 14A to 118A with an operating temperature range of -55°C ~ +125°C. The NPIM_PA Series meets PB-Free reflow conditions up to 260°C and is RoHS and REACH Compliant without exemptions and halogen free.
