The MOC304XM devices consist of a AlGaAs infrared emitting diode optically coupled to a monolithic silicon detector performing the function of a zero voltage crossing bilateral triac driver. They are designed for use with a triac in the interface of logic systems to equipment powered from 115 VAC lines such as teletypewriters, CTRs, solid-state relays, industrial controls, printers, motors, solenoids and consumer appliances, etc.
The MOC3041M is a 6-Pin DIP 400V zero crossing triac driver output optocoupler. It’s a single channel optocoupler with a maximum operating temperature of 85 degrees Celsius. The MOC3041M has a high isolation voltage of 5250 Vrms. This coupler has a maximum input current of 60 mA.The MOC3041M can be used in an array of isolation applications such as: Solenoid/valve controls, lighting controls, AC motor drives/startes, static power switches, solid state relays, and temperature controls.
