Fonctionnalités et applications
ITW Paktron specializes in Ultra Low ESR multilayer polymer film capacitors and leads in Film-Chip and SMT designs. The Quencharc, an R-C Network/Snubber is among them.

Like all film capacitors, the Capstick has “true” voltage ratings and unlike other dielectric systems require no voltage deratings for maximizing reliability (MTBF) or use life. It is ideal for high frequency switching power supplies. It is a reliable solution to ceramic and tantalum capacitor faults at elevated voltage.

The Capstick is a Metallized PET-SMD (Low Shrinkage Polyester) dielectric – MLP Capacitor Styles. It is a lead frame film capacitor that has a shell box case style. The CB type is available for both thru-hole and surface mount (gull winged) assembly. It comes in 100 VDC and the capacitance ranges from 2.0 to 10.0 uf.

The Capstick is characterised by its surface mount capability, low ESR-ESL and high ripple current / high capacitance. Its operating temperature ranges from -55’C to 125’C.

The 405K100CB4G is a 100 VDC 4.0 uf gull winged SMD capacitor. It has a tolerance of +/- 10% and is ROHS 5 compliant. The 405K100CB4G are packed on tape and reel.
