Murata Electronics is a global leader in EMC Solutions using its ceramic dielectric and ferrite technologies to produce high performance EMI suppression filters. Murata’s EMI offering consists of several solutions including: ferrite beads, terminal capacitors, and common mode chokes.
One solution is the three terminal EMI Filter. Constructed using Murata's advanced multilayer technology with a three terminal structure, the NFM18P series reduces the effect of Equivalent Series Inductance (ESL), which thus allows high performance noise suppression up to the GHz range.
The benefits of Murata's NFM18P seires include a high rated current and large capacitance for large insertion loss over a wide frequency range. These characteristics are important because they help suppress noise in various digital equipment applications such as DC power lines and the power line of a high-speed IC.
The NFM18PC104R1C3D is a three terminal chip capacitors in a 0603 package and has a capacitance of .1 uF at 2 amps.
