The MICTOR Connector System is based on the concept of having 2 rows of signal contacts divided by a center power ground plane. This system is PC board compatible and board to board configurable but also includes designs for cable to board applications. The connector system is designed for 50 ohm systems.

The MICTOR connector family is available in .64 [.025] centerlines and sizes ranging from 38 signal positions to 266 signal positions in increments of 38 positions. The connector contains 76 dedicated signal lines per inch; with a discrete ground bus every 12.7 [.050] of connector length, which can be assigned to either power or ground in any combination. Redundant interfaces on every signal line provide added reliability. There are two plating options (Gold and PdNi) to meet the needs of various applications.

The connector is surface mounted designed for parallel and right angle board to board configurations. The housing material is liquid crystal polymer (LCP) making it compatible with surface mount reflow processes.

The ground bus between the rows of signal contacts provides low crosstalk and excellent high speed signal characteristics. The ground bus pc board attachment is a reflow capable through the board tail, barbed or barbless. Barbed tails provide retention and are typically used for hand placement. Both barbed and barbless tails can be machined placed.

Fifteen stackable mated heights are available for board to board systems ranging from 6.6 to 31.9 [.260 to1.256} and custom stacking heights can be provided.

2-5767004-2 is a 38 position vertical receptacle 5.99 [.236] in height, tube packaged with barbed ground bus tails 1.40 [.055] in length, gold plated in the contact area with tin plated solder tails
