Subject of change: Change in PCB supplier for all Dragster products Description of change: Our current PCB supplier is currently facing shortage in terms of delivery commit due to capacity limitation. In the face of this situation, and independently of ams-OSRAM AG continuous efforts to secure future deliveries, please be informed that alternative solutions/supplier are currently under qualification. With this strategic approach, ams-OSRAM AG targets to provide our customers alternative solutions, in order to mitigate as much as possible, any supply shortages that may occur. The alternative solutions/supplier will have no impact on the current PCB design. This means that the footprint of the module will still be the same as what the customer is receiving now. Furthermore, a pre-qualification was implemented showing PASSING results. As soon as additional information is available, ams-OSRAM AG will share a follow up statement with regards to the full qualification results and alternatives.
Introduction of new dicing machine for LS In order to ensure the continuous improvement of the Line scanner sensor supply chain and the capacity throughput at our assembly sub-contractor Focuz Manufacturing Co, LTD, ams-OSRAM AG in partnership with Focuz, will qualify and release a new dicing machine. ams-OSRAM AG will assure that the new machine delivers the same output results as the one currently in the production line.
