General Product Description: DT 2 to 12 ways series connector Description of Changes The ICT business unit of TE is adding a fourth source material for the part numbers listed below. These PNs are TE proprietary designs, therefore considered catalog/general market product. PPAP and/or sample requests must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system. Submission will not occur without request. If PPAP requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved. Product drawings are not affected. Reason for Changes: Dear Customer, we hereby inform you of this change. The change is needed as a result of global demand in excess of PA66 and the available capacity of our suppliers. The additional source material does not impact performance. IMPORTANT: The current and previous revisions of these parts can be used interchangeably in the field. TE Connectivity has extended its DEUTSCH DT range of connectors for use in harsh conditions, introducing a wire-to-wire snap-cap design. This means that the DT 2/3 series now includes three versions: the existing standard version, the welded seal cover, and the new snap-cap design.
