More Information on RF Inductors...

What is an RF Inductor?

As a way of reducing proximity effect and parasitic capacitance, RF coils are created to not have several turns that are lying close and parallel to each other. RF coils have windings that are usually wound on a single layer, with turns spaced apart. In order to diminish resistance because of skin effect, the windings in an RF inductor may be made of metal with a larger silver-plated surface area.

Types of RF Inductors

There are several different kinds of RF inductors. At Future Electronics we stock many of the most common types categorized by Nominal Inductance, Self Resonance Frequency, Maximum Rated Current, Maximum DC Resistance, Tolerance and Packaging Type. The parametric filters on our website can help refine your search results depending on the required specifications.

The most common sizes for Nominal Inductance are 1 µH and 10 µH. We also carry RF inductors with Nominal Inductance up to 2700 H. Self Resonance Frequency can be between 950000 Hz and 20 GHz.

RF Inductors from Future Electronics

Future Electronics has a complete selection of RF inductors from several manufacturers that can be used as RF coils or a coil inductor, among other uses. Simply choose from the RF inductor technical attributes below and your search results will quickly be narrowed in order to match your specific RF inductor application needs.

Choosing the Right RF Inductor:

When you are looking for the right RF inductors, you can filter the results by various attributes with the FutureElectronics.com parametric search: by Tolerance (± 20 %, ± 10 %, ± 5 %,… ), Maximum DC Resistance (40 mΩ, 350 mΩ, 400 mΩ , 600 mΩ, …) and Nominal Inductance (from 0.75 nH to 2700 H) to name a few. You will be able to find the right coil inductor or RF coils.

RF Inductors in Production Ready Packaging or R&D Quantities

If the quantity of RF inductors required is less than a full reel, we offer to customers many of our products in tube, tray or individual quantities that will help you avoid unneeded surplus.

In addition, Future Electronics offers its clients a unique bonded inventory program designed to eliminate potential problems that could arise from an unpredictable supply of products containing raw metals and products with long or erratic lead times.
