Panasonic EKMB & EKMC Series has expanded, now offering “Wide Area Detection” PIR Motion Sensor Line Extension to the two existing lineups.
Featuring another new lens design, these PIR Motion Sensors are designed to provide wide area detection spanning over 10.8 meters, which allows a singular Panasonic sensor to cover an entire room.
EKMB & EKMC sensors feature a high signal to noise ratio which ensures the prevention of false triggers. Advanced Pyroelectric Sensor design improves the accuracy of detection.
Innovative Sensor Features
Panasonic “Wide Detection Area” Type PIR Sensors also feature a new lens to create various detection zones, an optical filter to block non-infrared light, Pyroelectric sensing elements, and an impedance converter to get an electrical signal. In addition to this, Panasonic integrates an amplifier and comparator circuit on the same chip all densely packed inside the stem block.
The New “Wide Area Detection” Type PIR Sensors include a one-chip ASIC design which is superior to discreet solutions by saving space, adding electro-magnetic shielding to all circuitry and cutting down on the number of components required.
