Why use a Radio Module?
There is big potential for saving time and money by using an RF-module instead of the single RF-IC. With a pure HW-RF-module, you can save HW-development resources, since the required circuitry is completely included. An integrated antenna enables an easy integration, even with a minimum of RF knowledge. The software integration, testing and certification effort will be minimized if the firmware is already available, because the FW is linked to module certification.
