Inductive Position Sensors
FEATURED PRODUCT: IPS2200
The IPS2200 is an industrial-qualified, inductive position sensor by Renesas capable of providing the absolute rotor position as sine and cosine. This position sensor uses the physical principle of Eddy currents to detect the position of a simple metallic target moving above a set of coils, consisting of one transmitter and two receivers. The output interface can be configured as single-ended, for higher system cost effectiveness or differential to better reject common mode disturbers. The Renesas IPS2200 can be used for high-speed motor commutation up to 250krpm electrical, in industrial, medical, robotic and consumer applications.

Outdoor Air Quality Sensor Platform
The Renesas ZMOD4510 is the industry’s first digital outdoor air quality (OAQ) sensor module and is calibrated to detect ozone (O3) and nitrogen oxide (NOx) gases that contribute to unhealthy air quality. These gas sensors provide reliable detection that correlates with the US Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Air Quality Index (AQI) for measuring these gases. They also provide vital information that helps individuals manage their health and daily activities, as well as enable systems to efficiently manage smart air handling systems in buildings, factories, and the home.

FEATURED PRODUCT: ZMOD4410
Indoor Air Quality Sensor Platform
The ZMOD4410 Gas Sensor Module is designed for detecting total volatile organic compounds (TVOC) and monitoring indoor air quality (IAQ). It is a 12-pin LGA assembly (3.0 x 3.0 x 0.7 mm) that consists of a gas sense element and a CMOS signal conditioning IC. The module’s sense element consists of a heater element on a Si-based MEMS structure and a metal oxide (MOx) chemiresistor. The signal conditioner controls the sensor temperature and measures the MOx conductivity, which is a function of the gas concentration.

Relative Humidity and Temperature Sensor
The HS3001 is a highly-accurate, fully-calibrated relative humidity and temperature sensor. The high accuracy, fast measurement response time, and long-term stability, along with the small package size, makes the HS3001 ideal for a wide number of applications from portable to harsh environments.
An integrated calibration and temperature compensation logic provides fully corrected RH and T values via a standard I²C output. The measured data is internally corrected and compensated for accurate operation over a wide range of temperature and humidity levels–user calibration is not required.
