The Renesas RL78/F1x 16-bit MCUs are AEC-Q100 automotive-qualified and provide super low power consumption. The large MCU portfolio is scalable from 8 to 512KB flash / 0.5 to 32KB RAM, and from 20 to 144-pins (QFN, LQFP, SSOP packages) to provide optimal coverage for a range of application demands.
The RL78 microcontrollers also feature high temperature support up to 150°C, BLDC / FOC motor control, CAN, LIN, UART, CSI, I2C interfaces and hardware / software compatibility across the family. The MCUs are supported by a full library of design tools, documentation and an extensive ecosystem.
