Renesas R9A02G021 Ultra-Low Power Microcontroller
Well suited for cost-sensitive and low-power applications
The Renesas R9A02G021 Ultra-low Power Microcontroller (MCU) incorporates an energy-efficient and performant RISC-V 32-bit core, that is particularly well-suited for cost-sensitive and low-power applications.
The MCU features 128KB code flash memory, 4KB data flash, 16KB SRAM with ECC support, many timers and serial connectivity interfaces, a high number of IOs with output current control, and rich analog functionality (12-bit A/D Converter, DAC, comparator).
The R9A02G021 supports 125°C temperature operation and can be delivered in 16 WLCSP, 24, 32 and 48 QFN package options.
Renesas provides a complete free-of-charge development ecosystem including e2 studio IDE, code generator, compiler toolchain, flashing tools, and application notes to assist the end user in developing and deploying this new technology in a product.
Additional commercial environments like IAR Embedded Workbench and SEGGER Embedded Studio are available for this MCU.
