Based on the Arm® Cortex®-M series core

NXP’s S32K microcontrollers offer scalability, high-performance and low-power consumption tailored for applications in body, zone control and electrification. Adaptable to both AUTOSAR® and non-AUTOSAR applications, the S32K MCUs provide functional safety and embedded security compliant to ASIL B/D levels.

The microcontrollers are supported by a minimum of 15 years of product longevity and a comprehensive, third-party software and tools ecosystem.

As a part of the S32 Automotive Processing Platform, NXP S32K Microcontrollers aim to provide an end-to-end solution, encompassing development, implementation and sustained performance through an Automotive-grade Software Development Kit (SDK).

This series offers Arm® Cortex®-M-based MCUs, along with a basic cryptographic security engine. The S32K1 Family offers scalability in number of cores, memory and peripherals, ensuring high-performance and functional safety compliant with ISO 26262 up to ASIL B.

Accompanied by a complete production-grade software ecosystem, the S32K1 features ultra-low-power operating modes and are supported by a comprehensive suite of production grade tools and software including an automotive-grade Software Development Kit (SDK) suitable for both AUTOSAR® and non-AUTOSAR applications.

S32K1 MCUs are available in various package types, including QFN, LQFP and MAPBGA, providing flexibility in integration and design.
