The Hirose BM28 series board-to-board / board-to-FPC connectors feature a robust and dependable structure with an improved self-alignment range and metal guide, which encourages mating confidence.

A smooth, damage-free mating operation is more than possible between the header and receptacle. The Hirose Electric connectors’ signal contacts are copper alloy and gold-plated with a two-point contact design. The guide ribs ensure 0.3mm self-alignment and create a tactile "click" for superior reliability.

The BM28 Series is designed for space-saving convenience with a narrow depth stacking height of 0.6 mm, making it suitable for smaller devices such as smartphones, wearables and tablet PCs. Hirose Electric BM28 Connectors have rated currents up to 5A and compatibility with USB3.1, Gen.2 (10Gbps).

Halogen-free, these board-to-board / board-to-FPC connectors from Hirose also have a 0.35mm contact pitch and 0.6mm stacking height. BM28 Connectors use straight SMT type terminations and feature models with both receptacle and header connector types, ranging from 6 to 60 signal contacts.
