The ICL3243ECAZ-T is a RS-232 transmitter and receiver IC with 3 transmitter and 5 receiver, available in 28 pin SSOP package.

This device is a 3-driver, 5-receiver devices that provide a complete serial port suitable for laptop or notebook computers. It also feature an automatic power-down function which powers down the on-chip power-supply and driver circuits.
