All devices in Kingston’s IronKey series use XTS 256-bit AES hardware encryption, with the military-grade S1000 integrating an additional on-device cryptographic chip. The IronKey D500S’s dual hidden partition and crypto-erase password function further supports the highest levels of data security for military-grade applications.
All military-grade drives in the IronKey series offer tamper protection using an epoxy seal or filling. The IronKey Vault Privacy 80 ES SSD addresses tamper protection in enterprise use cases with an additional secure microprocessor with CC EAL5+ certification.
