Auto-locking FFC/FPC connectors safeguard high-speed board-level data and signal transmissions

The EVAFLEX family of connectors from I-PEX provides comprehensive EMI shielding to ensure high signal integrity at high transmission rates. These robust connectors are suitable for use in both indoor and outdoor equipment.

The I-PEX® EVAFLEX® flexible flat cable (FFC)/flexible printed circuit (FPC) connectors offer OEMs a secure and reliable ways to transfer board-level data and signals. The dependable mating mechanism and EMI shielding built into the EVAFLEX products help OEMs ensure that data connections in products exposed to tampering or attack are secure and reliable.   

 

The EVAFLEX® connectors have an auto-locking feature that can mate an FFC/FPC with a single action, making them more robust and durable than traditional FFC/FPC connectors, as well as easy to operate. The connectors also feature a ZenShield® 360° EMI shielding option to maintain high signal integrity. The connectors support high data-transmission rates up to 16 Gbits/s.

 

The option of high-temperature capability makes products in the EVAFLEX range suitable for use in outdoor equipment such as surveillance cameras.
