Automotive-grade inductors provide wide range of electrical specifications

The LCXN series of power inductors from TAIYO YUDEN are supplied in a wide range of case sizes to give automotive systems designers flexible mechanical design options and a choice of inductance and current ratings.

The LCXN series of wire-wound ferrite power inductors from TAIYO YUDEN is ideal for use in automotive body and chassis applications, and in infotainment equipment.

These power inductors, which are AEC-Q200 Grade 3 qualified, are supplied in versions with inductance ranging from 0.47 μH to 220 μH, and in standard-current or high-current options.

The LCXN inductors have a robust sleeveless structure, which gives high resistance to vibration and provides for lower total weight in devices with larger inductance values. In addition, the inductors support direct mounting on to the PCB with a large electrode area, reducing the risk of open-mode defects.

Offering tolerance of inductance of ±20% or ±30%, these wire-wound power inductors are offered in a wide range of case sizes with footprints ranging from 2.0 mm x 2.0 mm to 8.0 mm x 8.0 mm. Maximum height ranges from 1.0 mm to 4.5 mm.
