Amphenol CS — ND9 Series ix Industrial Connectors

The ND9 series of ix Industrial™ connectors from Amphenol Communications Solutions supports Ethernet and other industrial networking protocols, and provides power-over-Ethernet (PoE) capability.

The ix Industrial connectors enable IoT connectivity through all levels of an industrial operation, from the enterprise network and cloud computing systems to the sensors and actuators at the factory floor.

The ix Industrial connectors, which feature a 10 mm pitch and secure two-point metal latches, occupy just 25% of the board space of an RJ45 connector. Their use gives much greater port density and mating security than systems based on RJ45 connections.

The Amphenol ND9 connectors offer data rates up to Cat 6A level, or 10 Gbits/s. With 360° shielding through the mated pair, they also provide network signals with excellent protection against EMI.

The ND9 connectors are supplied as board-mount receptacles in right-angle and vertical orientations, with multiple keying options and field-terminated plugs for easy on-site installation
