Terminal blocks contribute to efficiency of system assembly

The SR99 and SM99 terminal blocks from METZ CONNECT provide a simple method of conductor insertion, and an inspection window allows the assembler to check for correct connection.

The SM99 and SR99 series single-pole terminal blocks from METZ CONNECT make wire termination and board assembly quick and efficient. The surface-mount SM99 and through-hole SR99 series are 6.6 mm high and accept wire cross-sections of up to 1.5 mm2.

The blocks feature a push-button which facilitates quick and easy conductor insertion and release. An inspection window allows users to see whether the conductor has been inserted into the connector properly. An additional continuity test point enables users to comply with regulatory requirements for electrical checks and to confirm that the correct connections have been made.

Offering various orientation and placement options, these single-pole terminal blocks give flexibility in PCB design.

METZ CONNECT supplies color options for the finger latch used to terminate cables in the block. The options are:

  • Graphite black
  • Cream white
  • Signal yellow
  • May green
  • Carmine red
  • Capri blue
  • Red orange
  • Traffic gray
  • Brown
  • White
