I-PEX — CABLINE Family

I-PEX supplies a range of space-saving precision interconnection systems which can handle both power and signals at high data rates.

The CABLINE® family of micro-miniature connectors supports both discrete wire in sizes of AWG 32 or smaller, and coaxial cables which have an outer cable diameter of up to 1 mm in wire sizes of AWG 32 or smaller.

The CABLINE interconnect products are ideal for transferring power and signals in a receptacle and cable assembly with pitch dimensions of 0.5 mm or 0.4 mm. Such a dense interconnect solution saves both board space and cost.

The CABLINE series includes products with high-performance ZenShield® EMC shielding. This shielding suppresses electromagnetic noise in the connector by using a grounding structure and cover, which includes the mounting position of the signal contact tails with metal shields.

The CABLINE connectors are suitable for use with a variety of high-speed communications protocols, including:

• MIPI, HDMI 1.3, USB 4 operating at up to 20 Gbits/s per lane
• PCIe Gen 4 supporting rates of 16 GT/s
• eDP HBR 3 at a rate of up to 8.1 Gbits/s
