Dialight — X/Y 515 Series Optopipe Light Pipes

The new X/Y 515 series Optopipe® Light Pipes from Dialight are available in multiple heights and lengths as well as customized dimensions, making them suitable for a wide range of applications that use surface-mounted LEDs. 

For quick and secure mounting, the light pipes have an enclosed housing with mounting pins. The opaque housing minimizes light bleed and increases optical efficiency. By stacking two devices with the correct height and light-pipe length, designers can also implement bi-level indication.

The light pipes are available in four standard lengths ranging from 8.1 mm to 45 mm. Custom lengths are available anywhere within this range. There are six standard heights of the housing from the top of the PCB to the centerline of the light pipe. These range from 5.1 mm to 12.7 mm, with customized options available within this range.

The X/Y 515 series of Optopipes is compatible with the 597 series, the 598 series and the 599 series of single, bi-color and tri-color surface-mount LEDs from Dialight.
