Ezurio Sterling-LWB+ Radio Module

Combined Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules give fast route to wireless internet connectivity

Ezurio has introduced the Sterling-LWB+ radio, offering 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® 5.2 wireless connectivity in a fully integrated system-in-package (SiP), or as a module with or without an antenna.

The Sterling-LWB+ is based on the AIROC™ CYW43439, a combined Wi-Fi 4 and Bluetooth 5.2 system-on-chip from Infineon. It provides IoT device manufacturers with the fastest possible way to implement wireless internet connectivity: easy to integrate, it is fully certified, and supports an industrial operating-temperature range.

The Wi-Fi 4 radio is backed by Ezurio’s software drivers and support, which means that it can be easily integrated into any system based on a Linux®, Android™, or real-time operating system. Ezurio’s Linux Backports package ensures compatibility with a broad range of Linux kernels. The module also supports the latest WPA3 security standards.

Of the two certified module versions of the Sterling-LWB+, one features an on-board chip antenna, while the other has an MHF connector for an external antenna.

The modules will include certifications for FCC, ISED, CE, RCM, and MIC. Bluetooth Special Interest Group registration is also included.
