To meet the need for ESD protection in highly space-constrained applications, Vishay offers a range of bidirectional symmetrical, single-line ESD protection diodes in a very small CLP0603-2L chip-level package. The footprint is 0.6 mm x 0.3 mm, and the package is 0.28 mm high.
The VBUS and VCUT series offer a working voltage range of between ±3.3 V and ±15 V. The VBUS series offers very low capacitance, while the VCUT series offers high ESD immunity. The VCUT series ESD protection diodes are AEC-Q101 qualified.
ESD immunity ranges between ±15 kV and ±30 kV for air or contact discharges, according to the specifications of the IEC 61000-4-2 standard.
